Snowy Spring planning for a Sunny Summer in New England

What do you do on a snowed-in 2nd day of spring?  Finish booking camp sites for our summer vacation to New England!

Being the mom of two teenage boys is exciting and challenging.  If I want them to go on vacation with me and their dad for 4 weeks then I have to plan things for both of their different interests.  Although last summer's wild west vacation was amazing, Dunovan missed the city life, while Brodey could have just hiked and climbed forever.  This summer I am trying to find a balance between the great outdoors for Brodey and the historic city life for Dunovan.  We have several short getaways planned in May, July, and August, but our big trip this summer is four weeks in New England and Canada.

Not last summer's 8,000+ miles but a sold 2,200, 2 countries, 8 states and 2 Canadian provinces.

Our Trip will include:

Pocono Mountains for a little R&R.
Mystic, Connecticut
Boston, Salem, Plymouth, and Cape Cod, Mass
Acadia NP in Maine
White Mountain, NH
Quebec City, Canada
1000 Islands, Mallorytown, Canada
Allegheny National Forest, PA

For now, we are just waiting for this snow to stop so we can get in our camper and start enjoying it.  It is still all wrapped up and hibernating; teasing us as it sits patiently waiting in our driveway.
